Legal Nurse Case Internship

Veronica is looking for a Legal Nurse who is preferably Bilingual who would like to practice report writing and case analysis skills. 1. There is no pay for this case. 2. There is no charge to the nurse for the Internship. Veronica is preferably looking for someone who is fluent in Spanish and can read medical records in Spanish as well as in English. This case is an International case from the Dominican Republic. To apply, you can email Veronica at info@RNMARKET.com and let her know if you are able to be in her office and what days. The Internship will take place between the 28th and 31st of March (Monday-Thursday). One to two days should be sufficient for the learning experience. The Nurse will preferably be certified as an Advanced Legal Nurse Consultant.

Legal Nurse Consulting: Florida Woman Awarded 500K for Alleged Injury in Gym Accident

On January 26, 2011, plaintiff Dawn Beauchamp, 42, was awarded $503,398.84 after her lawsuit against Central Florida Fitness Inc. She was injured while sitting on an adjustable bench seat, when the seat collapsed. The accident resulted in a herniated disc which resulted in two surgeries, a discectomy on February, 2008 and a lumbar fusion on Sept 30, 2009. The lawsuit against Central Florida Fitness Inc., which was doing business as Gold's Gym, claimed that the defendant failed to properly repair and maintain the seat, creating a dangerous situation. The defendant claimed it was Beachamps' error and the gym was not at fault. They also argued her injuries were pre-existent to the accident.
